The kingdom in the faraway, the ancient Egypt that was filled with magic and spells, Eros was the king. He woke up every morning, alone on his white silk bed, it was always like that everyday ever since he was born. The wind and sun could easily went into the room since it was all open. Though it was placed in the third level of the palace.

The air was fresh, and gentle. The room was enriched with the sweet scent of orchid and snapdragon flowers. Eros opened his eyes the moment when Sunlight hit his eyes. His blanket fell off his body and showed his sun kissed honey skin. He let his wavy golden hair cascaded along his back to his feet.

He woke up and went straight to the big stone tub right before him. He bathed and thought about it. He wanted someone to be there when he woke up. The night felt so cold lately. And so, he told the ten eunuch to spread the news, Prince Eros was going to marry the first person who entered the castle gate.

And so, he sat on the velvet couch prepared for the prince only. He could see the crowd from the outside. He sighed. And then, there's one person came to him. Visibly, a man. He was the first one who entered the castle gate. Eros smiled upon him.

,' may I see your face traveler? You've come so far to be my bride."

It was a day like every other. I woke up and did my duties and endured my father's insults and disappointment. As I was about to go train, I felt something pull me away. My heart. Maybe this was it! My ticket out of here! I closed my eyes and when I opened them, I was in some sort of desert. I simply walked in a big palace as I followed my heart. A man stood there, he smelt like me in some way. My summoner. I walked toward him and he asked to see my face. When he said that I had traveled far to become his bride, I rose my eyebrow and took off the cloth that his my face, though it also his my chest and armor, so I was in my normal clothes now. My black hair flew freely now. I looked at him more and then grabbed his chin.

"I've waited a long time for your heart to call out to me. I am Raikou and I shall be your blade and your shield. As for your bride, we will see who dominates who in due time. Now tell me, what will your sacrifice be? It will seal the bond between us. I will be yours. Forever."

Some guards came towards us and asked the man before me if he needed protection from me. I stood and glared at them. My golden eyes showed anger, annoyance but they were still soft. If I wanted to harm him, I would have harmed him. Though right then, a woman barged into the palace and walked all the way to the man in front of me and tried to push me away, gave up and simply walked between us.

"I'm here! Now let's get married! I always wanted to be queen!"

I picked her up and moved her away, even though she was screaming at me, hitting me, I ignore her. Until she kicked my wounded leg, then I grabbed hold of her neck and glared at her.

Such bold, handsome man this traveler was! He was handsome and his movement on grabbing Eros's chin was kind of bold. Even the way he spoke was bold and sharp, like a real man. How intriguing. Eros smiled as he ordered the guards to dispose the female garbage. Then, Eros stood up, turned around and he had his 'bride' following him all the way to the bedroom. His bedroom was huge, and it was all open, it has lots of white curtain all over the pillars. Eros stopped walking and turned around to look at the guy. He smirked as he sat on the couch and letting the man, sat beside him.

,' Raikou-san… you are such bold man, nobody dared touch me without my permission but you did. Brave one, I like you."

Eros smiled more and he rested his head on the couch arm and he looked at the man before him. They got same eyes, all golden. What a coincidence. Eros who was wearing nothing but golden shawl to cover his privates sat freely and his legs were all exposed to the man. He grabbed the man, pulled him closer and let him rested his head on his soft lap.

,' come here Raikou-san… as I promise, the first person enter my castle today would marry me, and you are that person. Might as well know each other better right? You talked about sacrifice…. Hmmm.. you're an eidolen right?"

However, before Eros would offer something to this man… he would need to make sure that this man was worth it. He would not just give up something precious of him to anyone easily. It didn't take long for the woman to be taken away from here. The man then stood up and made me follow him. I didn't see why I wouldn't so my feet lead me towards him. We ended up in a bedroom. Probably his. He sat on a couch and I sat as well. The man claimed that my bold statements and actions pleased him. Though when he said that people didn't touch him without his permission, I couldn't help it, I had to show him that I didn't care about his rules. As long as I didn't receive his sacrifice, I could do whatever I wanted without needing his permission. He moaned when I touched his leg. He was quite sensitive then? A smirked danced on my lips as my hand went a little higher, over his knees, along his thigh. I didn't know what promise he spoke off and why marriage was important, nor did I care. ,' Think about it Raikou-san, if you wish to be my consort, then you shall stay by my side, but if you wish to seek Master then I must bid you farewell. Two days from now. You have time to think."

He stood up and then called for the guards, he asked them to escort Raikou to his room and dispose the fainted guards who was still there. Then, Eros locked his bedroom and noticed that it was night already. He went to sleep as he changed into his silk sleeping robe.

This was bad. If I didn't get a Summoner's link with him, my Father could ways come get me back. After the door to this room was locked behind me, I simply went out the window and turned into a dragon. I wouldn't stay in this room. I receive no order. I made my way back right to Eros' room. He was sleeping it seemed. I turned back into a man and climbed right over him, pressing my hand on his mouth so he couldn't scream. His eyes flew open and he stared at me.

"Maybe I didn't say this right. An Eidolen needs a Summoner in order to stay in this dimension. Whatever happens after the bound is formed depends on both parties. The sacrifice is a necessary thing to forge that bound. You might wonder what the Eidolen loses? Some may say their freedom, bit you will give me mine. My father is a tyrant, if he finds out where I am, he will come get me back."

I saw him glaring at me and then an idea came to me. I told him to keep quiet and backed away. I turned into a dragon and invited him to get on my back.

"Come, get on. Let me show you what its like to be free. Let me show you what I can't do where I'm from because I am my father's slave. My choice is simple. I want to be yours, any way possible. If you want us to get married, I don't mind, I find your energy soothing."

Once he was on my back, I showed him how to hold on and then I went on the balcony and took off. I could feel his heart pounding. Of course, he'd be afraid, but I wouldn't let him fall. I flew high in the sky though stayed in a hot air pocket. Soon I heard him laughing and having fun. I roared and flew faster. We flew around for hours until I brought him back to his room. I turned into a man again.

"You are the very first person to have ever ridden my back. I believe my choice is clear. Sleep Eros. I will be right here."

He was sleeping, but then he saw the man, raikou in his dragon from, he took some time to turn into a man and kept Eros' mouth shut. That was a bit uncomfortable, Eros did not like what the man did just now. Though right after that, something even more exciting happened. Raikou had Eros on his back, riding him. It was the very first time Eros ever did things like this. This felt like magic! Feels like.. he was living in a dream world.

Though one thing that made Eros smiled in his heart, Raikou chose to be his no matter how. Then that means a yes to be his consort. Good. So he did not need to lose this man. After few hours of Fun in the sky, the two went back to the room and they slept together. Eros felt happy. He snuggled his head against Raikou's chest , cuddled him as he slept. It felt soft, warm, strong, it felt so good. Without him noticing, Eros fell asleep like a baby, he woke up and found raikou right beside him, sleeping. Eros smiled, he hugged raikou and gave him a kiss on his lips.

Eros giggled softly and he cuddled with Raikou more, this was the first time he ever felt so comfortable and safe. Though it crossed his mind then. Last night, Raikou explained the details to him about the bonds and everything, Eros rested his head on Raikou's chest and then looked at him in the eye.

,' you talked about sacrifice right? Well. Since you will be my consort, then I guess.. you could seal my blood line, there shall be no sons or daughters born from my blood, I won't have any heir from my own blood. I think that's the most precious I could offer."

He could've offer his gold, riches, or title, but Eros thought that, for this man, those things would mean nothing right? So, sealing himself with raikou, would be the best offer he had. He smirked and tilted his head a bit as he starred at raikou.

We both slept soundly. It was strange. Out of all the day, I had not been insulted or beaten. My father wasn't there around me anymore. Instead I had a golden haired man in my arms. One who wished me to be his.
Something soft and warm on my lips woke me up. My eyes opened and looked straight at the man. Eros. He claimed that sleeping in my arms made him happy. Then he spoke of what I needed. His sacrifice. No children. From what I could see, for a man of his status, this was quite the sacrifice. Though with me by his side, he will never need a child. I grabbed his chin and made him look straight in my eyes. I kissed him gently but deep. By doing so, I took away his ability to reproduce and I placed my mark on his body. However, considering that he had to keep a good image, my mark appeared right on his tongue. When I released his lips, he was flustered and gasping for air. Was my kiss that good? I smirked.

"Sacrifice accepted. No matter how many females you would sleep with, no heir will be born from your DNA. However, pay in mind that as long as we are connected, you will neither age or grow ill."

I smiled at him when a man walked right in with a planner in his hands. He froze when he saw me. He sighed. The man had very long dark hair with sun kissed skin and bright green eyes. From the way he was dressed, he must be important here as well, unless everyone dresses that way?

"Prince Eros, you have a busy schedule today. I don't know who this is, but you don't have time to play with him. Let's get you in the bath and dressed up. First order of business is to visit the local school and answer a few questions from children. Then we have a meeting with the architect for the new wing of the palace."

He just kept going. I sighed and picked Eros up in my arms. I brought him to the bathroom myself and stripped him, then myself. Eros blushed hard as I walked in the big marble tub. I just sat back and smirked.

The deal was made. It kind of strange for Eros to make such deal. But whatever, he did not really pay in mind about that thing. The exchange was, Eros would never grow old or get sick. Which means he would live forever as long as he was connected to this man? Now that's… quite.. new and.. somehow, a bit scary. He did not think that his wish to have a consort would also ended up being eternity. He felt.. heavy all of a sudden. To him, life was good, but.. it was also scares him to death.

He did not even pay attention to the man who came in and spoke of his schedule. Eros simply turned into 'stone' and he let Raikou brought him to the tub as they bathed. Eros got annoyed by the man who kept saying about the schedule. He glared at the guy and scolded him

,' shut up and get lost!!!!! Now!!!"

The man seemed shocked but he left. Eros stayed in the tub and he looked at his reflection on the water. Would he be still like this even after thousand years? Would this be all right? Would he be all right? Perhaps if he's not feeling all right then he could ask this man to kill him? He looked at Raikou. This man, he was obviously immortal, lived through the ages of the world, lived through billion years.

,' will I stay like this thousand years to come? You say I will live forever as long as I'm connected to you. What are we? Are you my slave? My consort? Will you take care of my kingdom and it's people if I gave it to you?"

Sometimes, Eternity was not a good idea. Sometimes, death was even better than living forever in emptiness. And sometimes, to live forever, also meant to suffer forever. The young Prince gently rubbed his skin with his bare hands and he glanced at Raikou.

,' you're an immortal, if you could choose, would you rather be mortal who will die one day? Or stay immortal like you are now?"

Eros' attitude suddenly changed. He was starting to wonder if immortality was worth it. I glared at him and stepped out of the bath.

"Your heart yearned for warmth and love. I came and promised to be by your side forever yet now you regret?"

A very heavy atmosphere grew now and I was slammed down to the ground. My Father! I couldn't breathe and I couldn't move as my father's gigantic clawed hand held me down against the floor.

"Pathetic! You can't even find a human that wants you! Go on human, order him to break the contract! Kill him! Break the bond between the two of you and kill this useless bastard. Only Ryuzaki is worth being born from me! Storm dragons are supposed to be extinct!"

I stopped struggling. Ryuzaki was my older brother and he was the pride of my father. Storm dragons were unwanted because of their looks. My father had eradicated them so he was insulted the day his wife gave birth to one. He killed her but could not kill me.
I looked at Eros. If that was what he wanted then I would destroy my life to set him free. I moaned in pain as my father crushed me more under his dragon's paw. That's when I electrocuted him and he backed away. I slowly stood up and then stared at Eros.

"Am I not good enough? Do you truly want this contract to be nullified? I am ready to be by your side for eternity, I am ready to love and cherish you. I don't want your kingdom, I don't have the confidence to take care of a whole kingdom. Though I would take care of you and chase away your fears."

He felt insecure and scared, for a mortal like him, it was natural, he was scared of eternity even though he wanted love in his life, he was not prepared for eternity. Though then, before he could spoke a word, another big dragon came and hurt Raikou. From how the man spoke, it was his father, that man, he was Raikou's father, but he was so evil. Eros would not stay still as his consort was being hurt and all.

He drew a golden sword of his, it was forged in lava river by the ancient dragons, it was a sword that only an emperor would wield. And so, Eros swiftly swung the sword towards the other man and cut off his giant claws that was used to hurt Raikou. The man died and turned into ashes, thanks to the power of the sword. Though sadly, that guy managed to hurt Eros. His claw were planted on Eros' belly, that big sharp nail was there. Eros fell on Raikou's arms and he coughed in blood a bit.

,' he's….dead…..Raikou…. was it true? You loved me? We… don't know each other…don't… be silly…but...thanks anyway..."

Eros chuckled and he coughed some more blood out. He took his time to breath and he rested his head on Raikou's lap. He looked at raikou with fading gaze of his golden eyes that lost their shine. Eros smirked as his mouth were covered in blood.

,' it felt so… peaceful.. so..calm…..i can…see the sun in your eyes….Raikou…it's….beautiful…always… like..the sunshine…."

His weak hands reached out to raikou's cheek, and fell onto his lap. Eros closed his eyes as his breathing started to get heavy and fading. His blood was all over the floor and his golden shawl bathed in red.

I didn't understand. It happened too quickly, I couldn't protect him from the hit. No! This couldn't be! There was too much blood! The bond was still too new. I had to heal him slowly. But his me talk health still needed time. For a whole year, I took care of him. He was in a coma. I had to take over for him during that time. I hated it, but I had too. This was my role as his Eidolen and apparently, his spouse.
A whole year past. I walked into the bedroom and took my clothes off, I senses something different. Eros. His heart was beating more regularly. His breathing had quickened. I walked right up to him and sat on the bed next to him. I gently touched his cheek. Warm, soft. How I had stroked that soft cheek often during the year. I leaned closer and kissed him gently. That's when I heard him moan lightly. As I backed away, his golden eyes opened. He was back! I smiled at him. Then, I rang the bell and called for food and doctors. He should be fine, but he will feel weak for a few days.

"You made me wait, Eros. Welcome back."

When the food got here and chased everyone out, helped Eros sit up and slowly fed him a hearty soup. All along, I held back from grabbing him and squeezing him in my arms. We finished the soup and I licked his lips clean. Now he would probably want to wash. I gently picked him up and carried him to the big marble tub. I sat him down and stripped him and me, then brought him in the water. I held him against me. He seemed confused.

"You've been in a coma for one year. My...inability to protect you brought us to this point. I've been taking care of you while you recovered. I stayed by your side and took care of your duties."

I hugged him as gently as I could and breathed in his scent. Yes, he was back and well. I let some of my energy enter him through the bond we shared.

So this was feeling of death? This was dying? This was what he would feel when his life ended? Eros had such new experience in life. He saw lights and he also stayed in the dark for so long. He dreamt an endless dream. He never woke up, ever, he just sleep, silently, in darkness. Till one day, he saw the light shining upon him, like a morning dew that refreshed the dying flower. Eros finally opened his eyes, he wasn't dead? He saw his consort, Raikou. He looked softly, with fading gaze, he smiled weakly at him.

Eros did not feel right still, he felt like his whole body was in pain and needed to move or something. One full year lying down on the bed doing nothing and just lie dead made his whole body felt sore. Though he smiled when raikou got closer to him. They finally bathed together. Eros stayed close to Raikou and he tried to move his body little by little. He moved his fingers, his toe, his feet, hands, and mouth as well. He was working on his muscles slowly, commanding them to move normally.

,' one year… has it been that long? Raikou… Thank you… you did well as my consort… I'm in your debt."

Eros tried to move his body slowly as they bathed, he managed to move some part and then kept going to move another. This went well. Then, when the bath was done, he and Raikou got dressed. Eros tried to dress up by himself, with his own shawl and satin belt. He cleaned up his face and brushed his hair nicely. He wore his golden necklace again and then, took one as well, as he gave it to Raikou. He made Raikou wore it.

,' you're my consort… this necklace shall be the mark. Also, we would need to execute the ceremony soon, though you are My… consort.. we still hadn't done the ceremony, we need it.. so the people would… took you as their King…."

Eros felt a bit tired, he ended up holding onto Raikou as he stood there still. He sighed and smirked at Raikou. Well.. this man was an immortal, while Eros was nothing but fragile mortal.

,' Sorry… one year lying dead made me felt… a bit… sore.. but I'm fine… let us prepare the things for ceremony then.. i… will take care of the design at the garden….perhaps you….could rest now… you seemed tired… don't push yourself too hard for me, it's all right."

Eros grabbed his golden staff, and he used that to help him walk around. He knew that Raikou would need some rest after all the work he did. As a good prince and future King, he would let his consort have some comfort now, he worked hard already. Eros leaned closer and he brushed his lips softly against Raikou's before locking
their lips in a gentle kiss.

,' I'll…. Be right back…"

Was this boy completely stupid or simply suicidal? I sighed at everything I saw him do. Right before he was starting to leave, I grabbed him and placed him back in bed. I climbed over him and glared straight in his eyes. I seductively licked his neck and then his lips.

"How about you listen to me. You just woke up,your body needs time. You are barely able to stand up. I'll take care of everything. Your secretary has already made me study all the customs of your country. I know what to do."

I smirked at him and hugged him gently. I was happy to hear his voice again. I licked his lips again and gave him a little boost of energy. I then walked out of the room and Ishaq, the secretary came up to me. I told him that Eros was awake, he noticed the necklace and sighed.

"Our dear Prince wishes to have the ceremony then?"

I nodded and then we went out to the gardens and I prepared everything necessary. We also made the announcement that Eros had come back from his "vacation". Ishaq had claimed that if we had declared the prince to be ill, there would have been an all out war. So we made up the story that he was gone on vacation. I told Ishaq to go take care of Eros. He bowed and left.

He walked in Eros's room and bowed. The prince was finally awake. Ishaq was very happy to see his beloved lord was looking straight at him. It was time to tell his prince about the hard work Raikou had done during his absence.

"My prince, words can't begin to explain how happy I am to see you well again. Raikou-Sama has done wonders for this kingdom. The desert around here is now a green oasis. I believe this man is the best consort my prince could have ever picked. Do you want my aid in order to sit in your new garden? Raikou-sama has made it in my lord's image."

He was stopped, he was not allowed to go around and do things. Raikou prohibited him to do so. Guess he could not say no to this man then. Though after the ceremony and the announcement was done, Raikou went off somewhere and he left Eros with ishaq the kingdom's secretary. Ishaq came to Eros and told him about Raikou's work, that he had been working hard for the kingdom. Actually, Eros was not such a blind man or deaf one, he could see what Raikou had done to his kingdom and how this guy was giving so much for the kingdom.
Then, Ishaq proposed Eros to go to the garden that Raikou made for him. He agreed and he grabbed the staff as he walked together with Ishaq. Though since Eros was still weak, and he was still in recovering state, his movement was not so fast. He had difficulties in walking, even the way he spoke was slow and his voice was still weak. Seeing all that, Ishaq took the initiative.

,' Your highness.. please… forgive me… but allow me to help you."

Ishaq ended up lifting Eros in his arms and he carried the prince all the way to the garden. Somehow… Eros felt that.. if this was done by Raikou, how nice it would be. Though the one before him was Ishaq, he should at least appreciate the guy for helping. Being carried in Ishaq arms like a bride…that was embarrassing, even for the emperor himself. Eros felt weak and… uncomfortable. What would people say? The newlywed emperor was in his secretary's arms? Not a pleasant statement… Though he knew, Ishaq was purely helping, even if deep inside his heart, he got a feeling towards Eros.

When they arrive at the garden, Eros could see the glare on Raikou's eyes, even the aura surrounding him was… rather menacing, obviously jealous..yes. Ishaq who was too busy putting down Eros on the garden couch did not pay attention to raikou. He gently put his prince on the couch and he also took a silk robe and covered the prince's body with it.

,' Eros-sama.. please wear it, at least it will be more comfortable for you, I'll excuse myself for now."

Ishaq bowed and he left. Eros pulled the robe and covered his naked chest. He only wore his necklace and silk golden pants. He looked at Raikou as he rested his back against the couch. He knew what's in that guy's mind. Eros let out a soft sigh and he relaxed himself, enjoying the view of the garden.

,' I walked like a pregnant snail . Ishaq, was the only person there, so he helped me out. anyway, your work in this garden was great, i like the golden colors around here...thank you Raikou-san, this is so kind of you."
