melody of the night

As always he walked in the area, just by himself, perfectly dressed under his white yukata. He let his long silver –red hair thrown over his slim shoulder all the way to his curvy waist. He sat on the side of a fountain. The fountain’s stone was big enough for him to sit on it. He sighed softly and then he picked up his lute, a golden lute. He placed it on his lap and then he started to play it softly. This was his favorite, music and art; he liked it peaceful and calm. Then, he started to sing in his delicate gentle voice.

,” we are in so much pain , coz we loved too much, walking this painful path with you, with this humble heart of mine.”

He continued the play and he touched the strings softer than he did before. His long, slender fingers gracefully stroked the golden strings of his lute. He gently smiles as he enjoyed the smooth melody. He then stared at the night sky, the stars were nowhere to be seen, yet the moon was always there, shining brightly upon the world. He could feel the gentle caress of the moon light on his delicate face.

,” like a lonely moon without stars, like a lonely heart without shelter.”

He kept playing until he noticed someone approaching him slowly. he did not know who that was but he hoped that this person would not be a bad news for him, at least not in this beautiful night. He tried to keep calm and composed like always. He could see the shadow and then he gently smiled towards it, he knows the person was there, hiding.

,’ come enjoy the moon with me?”

Unable to sleep, I stood up and got out of my room. I was the closest to the dorm's entrance so I just decided to go in the main building. I could always go study indoors or something. It was quite late and the solitary moon was shining bright in the ink black sky. I thought it strange to see no stars out tonight. The Healers had nothing to read in the night sky this time. Though this was a good night for those black magic users.
With a sigh, I walked into the grand hall and heard a noise that should not be there at this time of the night. Music. With my katana by my side, I slowly walked towards the sound of it. A very soft melody. My katana wasn't reacting so there was no threat of combat. Not that I minded really, I was the best in my class. A true fighter of the Madora House.
When I got a glimpse of the person playing the instrument. A golden instrument. A lute by the looks of it. I kept in the shadows and watched that person play. I wasn't sure yet if this person was an man or a woman. This indecision changed when he started talking, or rather singing. It was a man. A very feminin man. Now that I looked closer, I had seen him in some of my classes. I had to think for a moment to remember his name. Ishida, Kurenai. That sounded right. He was just so silent during class that people didn't notice him. Though I had. Even though I was the one that people knew, I wasn't really social.
I slowly walked towards him when he invited me. I had the remember that Tasonosenshi had animal instincs and all. I walked until I was in front of him and rested my back against the wall, next to the wall sized window where the light of the moon shined brightly through.

"Evening, Ishida-San. I... couldn't sleep and then I heard your music and I got curious. It sounded good. Eum... you're a Tasonosenshi? What creature are you? Ah! Unless it's a secret for your people!"

I wasn't used to talking with people. I didn't talk alot. I was usually studying in my corner and ignoring others around me. The only time where I interacted with them was during combat practice. Then again, words didn't come out, I spoke through my blade. Ishida was the first person I spoke to in over a month.

As he kept on playing, the figure came out from the shadow. He was right; there was someone there watching his play and singing. It turned out to be a male. He raised his head and he moved his long hair to the back, revealing his face clearer to the person. He gave the man a gentle smile and for a moment there he softened his finger on his lute. He noticed that this guy knew his name, and it seemed that this guy knew more about Kurenai, it seemed that they were no strangers to each other. But now, the problem was, kurenai did not know the full name of this formidable handsome man. Now he felt like a bad person not to remember the guy’s name. With a soft polite voice he responded to the guy

,” evening to you too…you’re right, I am and, I’m white eagle.uumm…please forgive my rudeness, but… you are…..Sen…sama.. i.. I mean…..I’m sorry I didn’t remember…your… name…”

Now he stopped playing and he shyly looked at the guy. How come he did not know this guy’s name, he only knew that people called him Sen but he did not know whether this guy was a teacher or maybe more than that? Kurenai was a homeless student himself, he did not have any place to live in, he was always changing beds, from one person’s to another’s that was not so pleasant though. But then he tried to chase such thought away.

Right now there was no time to think about that. And then he tried his best to continue the conversation since he noticed that this guy seemed to feel awkward around kurenai, there were no need to feel that way actually. It was Kurenai who should feel awkward since he did not know the guy’s name, which was just so rude. He looked at the guy for a while and from the look of it and what he just said, he seemed to live in here, it’s good to have a home.

,” umm… you can sit beside me if you want, i will play a soft song for you... so.. you live here?”

After that friendly invitation, Kurenai started to play softly again. the melody was so smooth just like the wind, it flows gently, brushing the ears that heard it, like a gentle caress in the wind. he gave the guy another warm friendly smile and continued to play softly.

]I was correct when it came to his name, that made me feel better. And he also told me that he was a white eagle. From what I remembered frol text books and other manuscripts, a white eagle was a beautiful, majestic looking bird of prey. This man could be a predator, just with his looks he could get all the men he wanted. There was no way he could get a woman, he was to feminin to go out with a female, then again, who was I to judge?
He then called me sama and I almost choked on my own saliva. People never called me out with such a respectful title. Then again, it was true that he didn't know my last name. Nobody did. I kept my name secretive.
When he invited me to go sit next to him, I pushed myself off from the wall and walked closer to him, I detached my katana from my belt and sat down before resting it on my lap. My blade was my life, like most of the Sen'tou. I kept my back straight when I sat, years of training deep within my skin. I listened to him start playing his music again. I wondered what it felt like to live the way he could have by flying around in the sky. Then again, Tasonosenshi were disorganized and so carefree compared to Sen'tou. I could never be like him. I needed organisation. I was raised with it abd I fel wrong without it.

"You can't remember my name. Nobody knows my last name. I am Sen from the House of Madora. Just Sen is okay. I don't need the "sama" part. As for me living here, it happens that I do own a room but I don't feel at home. And you don't have to be so formal, we are in many of the same classes. You... Do you notice me? I mean have ever noticed me?"

He really felt bad now, he just can’t remember sen’s last name, and it was by luck that he got the first one right. He let the guy approached him closer and sat next to him. It was always nice to have someone to accompany him in this beautiful night. He saw the guy brought a weapon, a katana. He wondered if this guy was waiting for something or someone dangerous, but then he did not feel that it would be polite to ask, so he kept silent for that issue.

Then the guy told a little about himself. Saying that he was from the house of madora, from what he learned, people from madora house loved blood and they loved killing. He could be wrong this time since he did not feel any menacing aura from this guy. Then Sen asked him if he ever noticed him. He thought that maybe, only few people knew this man? Or he was a famous one and he was testing Kurenai if he noticed him? Then, with a gentle expression in his face, he looked at Sen

,” yes, Sen sama…. I mean sen san…I did, notice you.. From afar though I just.. Keep silent… and.. please.. .call me Kurenai, first name sounds better on me, if you don’t mind””

The guy owned a room in this luxurious dorm but then he said that he did not feel like home. Kurenai wondered what he meant by that. Was he looking for a companion? A roommate maybe? Or perhaps something else? He stopped playing his lute and he put it away from his lap, he kept it behind him. He gently looked at the guy called Sen and then gave him a plain, sad smile

,” well, at least you have a shelter, unlike me….”

Maybe this guy did not have a home, or family, but at least he had a place to live in, a place to go back to, unlike Kurenai who belong to nowhere and nobody. He did not even have a place to go back to, he had nothing with him, just little amount of money and his golden lute to survive. He then looked away from the guy and he gazed at the moon, it was reflected in his dark brown eyes, the shape of the moon.

So I guess we were already at the first name.basis then. He wanted me to call him Kurenai. It made me a little uncomfortable since I always called the people around me by their last names, but this was what he requested from me. To make me feel a little better, I took it like an order.
I felt odly happy by the fact that he noticed me. Not many people would dare say it to me. They just came around and tried to talk with me but then, I was hard to talk to. And yet, Kurenai was able to have a sort of conversation with me as he played his golden lute staring at the rond and pale blue moon in the night sky. I didn' understand why I just didn't walk away when he felt me there. I was not a social person. Then again, he had always intrigued me.
The music stoped and I turned my head towards him. He seemed sad. Then he explained to me that he didn't have a shelter. I was a little surprised since I thought that Tasonosenshi loved to live outside. And being an eagle, I thought he would prefer being in a tree or atop a mountain somewhere. Wouldn't it fel like a cage if he was surrounded by four thick stone walls?
Seeing his sad expression, I couldn't help but to grab him and wrap one arm around his shoulders. This was the way my father had showed me he cared for me. Did I care for Kurenai? Well I guess he could become a friend. The first person that sees what I really am like when I don't hace to combat someone.

"Hey, if you don' have a shelter or the money to pay one, why don't you live in my room? They gave me a single room, so I have a huge bed. I don't... mind sharing. There's also enough room for a Tassonosenshi to not feel cramped and I have a window that resembles this one in front of the bed. Of course it's only if you want. No... I'm forcing you to move in!"

I grinned. I didnt know what it was about this guy, but I felt like I could be myself around him.

Unexpectedly, the guy wrapped his strong arms around kurenai’s slim shoulder. He was a bit startled but he thought it was just this guy’s way to show him that he liked him as a friend. He gently turned his gaze on the guy and smiled at him. He saw Sen’s figure which was so formidable for a man and he looks so strong with his figure. But then, when the guy said that he was forcing him to move into his place, Kurenai couldn’t help but to let out a small chuckle. Apparently this guy was quite friendly. Usually, Kurenai only stayed for a night and then he moved to another place, but this guy offered him a permanent place to stay in, it made him happy to hear such thing.

The guy seemed to see through him by saying that he had no money, which was true, Kurenai only had small amount of money. Then he got closer to Sen and made his yukata touched the guy’s skin. He gently stared at him a little before he agrees with the moving in idea.

,” move..in..? I… if it’s all right with you then, I’ll be my pleasure to be your roommate Sen san…”

It was rare for him to encounter a person who would like to keep him longer than one night. Maybe this guy was the very first one. Not to mention that this guy was also the first one who made physical contact with Kurenai, the rest did not manage to do it even if they wanted to since Kurenai never allowed them to do so. Kurenai got a little bit flustered but he hid it well, he could feel the guy’s big strong hand on his shoulder.

The night was getting cold and the wind was getting stronger as well. It blew fiercely towards the two of them and it made Kurenai’s yukata fell off from his shoulder, revealing a small part of his white skin. He got distracted by the wind for a moment before he realized that. When he did, he quickly fixed his yukata and he hid his face under his long silver hair. He just hoped that Sen did not see that. It would be so embarrassing if he did. then, he softly muttered then,

," I'm so sorry..."

When Kurenai accepted to move in, I fell strangely relieved. I was used to being alone, but then again, this guy was different somehow. Then, the wind blew violently and moved the man's yukata from his shoulder. It was such white skin. I wanted to touch. No wait, I couldn't just touch his skin like that, it might make him awkward. He hid his skin back a hid his face behind his hair. Was he shy? He never hit me as the shy type before. I had him more like the seductive type. Then again, I didn't know him that much either. I didn't know many people except from the students and teachers files. They weren't public, but I pulled a few strings to gain access.
He the said he was sorry. I didn't understand why he said that, all I saw was a speck of his white skib, so different from mine. I pulled him closer, maybe he was cold with this wind. He was so thin that the wind must be blowing right through him and his yukata didn't look so warm. With a sigh, I took my short jacket off and put it over his shoulders. It had some fur around the collar and stuff, anyways, it was warm enough to keep him from freezing. I still kept my arm around his small body. He was so much thinner then I was. Did he eat enough or was it simply his body structure that was made for him to be small?

"Why are you sorry? Because I saw your shoulder? Are you cold Kurenai? And I told you to just call me Sen. I'm not a teacher and I'm no more important then you. Also, tell me when you want to go to... our room."

This man did not know why kurenai said sorry, well, it was simply because he thought that it was improper to show a new guy his bare skin, he was not used to that. It could be said that he never got naked or showed his bare skin to other people. This man was the first one and by accident too. But it seemed that it was useless being shy in front of this guy since he seemed to be a simple minded person. Then the guy got closer and then he placed his jacket on Kurenai’s shoulder, it was way too big but it was so warm. He felt so warm and so he slowly rested his head on the guy’s broad manly shoulder. His cheek touched the man’s muscles and he could feel the strength of this man. He must be a very experienced and well trained fighter, unlike Kurenai who was a spell caster and sorcerer. He felt so warm in the guy’s strong arms.

,” I.. I barely let people see my skin…I mean.. I never give them the chance to.”

Then as he rested his head there, he dared himself to stare at the guy’s muscles and abs; the shapes were just perfect that he would moan if he could not control himself. He looked enough and his eyes gazed to the big building behind them, the dorm. The guy asked him if he wanted to go to their room. Did he just say “our room’ to Kurenai ? Nobody ever said that to him everything was like “mine only and not yours” or “you are an outsider”. But still it was probably just the way this guy spoke, Kurenai did not want to think too much over it. He just looked gently at the guy. His face was reflected in Kurenai’s dark brown eyes, just sen’s figure.

,” Sen…we.. can go to your room if you want, I don’t mind..I’ll follow.”

A smirked appeared on my face when I knew he was staring at my body now. I knew that women liked this body, but I wasn't sure about men. I guess this guy liked what he was seeing. The wind blew again and I held Kurenai tighter, I didn't want him to get colder becaise of the night wind.
He then told me he barely let people see his skin. I guess that for me it wasn't the same feeling, I had a short jacket because it made it simpler for my fighting style. The clothes couldn't get in my way. He finally said he was ready to go to... wait did I hear that right? I grabed his chin and made him look straight in my eyes.

"Maybe I didn't make myself clear? I have said it was our room. If you ever forget it again, I will have to carve it in your mind."

I released his chin after looking in his eyes for a while. He had such pretty eyes. If I weren't careful, I would fall for them. Besides, it's not like he wasn't attractive, and my father had never let me do anything but train since I can walk. It was hard to be the successor sometimes. I wish that I could be like all the others and date and do stuff that had nothing to do with my blade.
Since he said he was ready to go to the room, I got up and grabed Kurenai's hand and pulled him towards the dorms.

"If you have stuff, there's lots of room for it."

The moment the guy grabbed his chin, Kurenai felt a bit scared, was he angry? One thing for sure was that he did not want to piss of this… formidable looking guy. That was the worst idea he could think of. He said that it was ‘their’ room and by the tone how this guy said it, Kurenai never wanted to forget about that ever again. Then both of them left the hall, they headed to sen’s room which now it would be the room for both of them. Of course his stuff were not much, he only had one lute and few yukatas in his small bag.

,” I only have few stuff with me, Thank you Sen..”

He followed the guy all the way to the dorms, the way was not far and Kurenai looked around as he held sen’s hand so he would not get lost. They kept on walking and they passed the main door of the dorm, then, they walked towards the corridor, sen led the way for sure since he lived here. For a moment, Kurenai did not pay attention to where he went and he just kept on following sen. Even his eyes only saw his new friend, Sen, nothing else. He felt awkward inside the dorm since this was new place for him. The corridor was not that dark but there were only few lights on. Then, accidentally, Kurenai bumped into someone, a guy, a big bully to be precise. He felt bad so he softly said to the stranger

,” I.. I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to…it was accident..”

However, the guy seemed to be displeased, he violently grabbed Kurenai’s hand; he glared and yelled at him as he held kurenai’s thin wrist tightly.

,” are you blind? Oh…. What a catch here…Are you his bed friend? I’ll pay you more!” the big rude guy seemed to take Kurenai as a whore or something like that. It made him angry but Kurenai did not want to stir up a fight, not in the middle of the night, so he tried to free his arm from the guy’s grip ( in silence, without a word), which started to get painful now. He struggled as his other hand kept holding on Sen’s.

,” please… let me go.. I don’t want this… I’m staying with sen…”“ Kurenai muttered those words softly as his eyes started to show fear. if his fear got too strong, he would not be able to control his power anymore, which was a bad idea and he did not want that.

I didn't even notice that I was still holding his hand as we walked into the dorms. It felt natueral, so I didn't bother releasing his hand. Besides, I didn't want him to get lost, he was looking all around. Well, I guess that for someone who didn't live here, this place was pretty impressive. We walked for a while, our room was on the top floor and I didn't want to walk to fast to let Kurenai keep up with me.
At some point, I feel that Kurenai bumped into some guy. He was rough with my friend. He even insulted him by thinking he is a whore. I didn't like people touching Kurenai. When I saw that he wasn't going to let go of him, I turned around and pinned the guy against the wall. I sliped my blade right under his chin and stared in his eyes. I knew this guy, I didn't like him at all.

"Nekuromansa. He is not for sell. And even if he were, there's no way I would let you have him. I know how you drain anyone's energy to feed your own powers. Stay away from him and stay away from me or my blade will slice your throat and I will feast of your blood."

I let go of him and he fell to the ground. He knew my.threat would be put into execution. I then grabed my friend's hand and pulled him in our room. I closed the door behind him and sighed as I turned the light on.

"You okay? This is our room, shower room is behind that door, you can put your stuff in that closet and that the bed. The stuff on the desk aren't that important, just books and stuff to study. You can use anything you want, but don't touch the weapons. They're all made specifically for me."

His friend noticed it and good thing that he quickly saved kurenai from that big bully. He just couldn’t believe this, first day on the dorm and he already gave trouble to his new friend. He should’ve been more careful, he could only regret what just happened. He might do not know the rules in the dorm but it was said that fighting was prohibited inside the dorm. He could only wish that Sen would not get into trouble by what just happened. He stepped forward and facing Sen in the eye. He was sorry for what happened. Not to mention the big bully turned out to be a nekuromansa, he heard such people, the one that practiced dark magic and arts. He softly sighed and he held sen by his hands.

,” Thank you, you saved me.. and.. I hope you don’t get into trouble for that.. I mean.. If only I wasn’t that clumsy..I was..Looking straight at your back so…I did not see him..”

Then, Kurenai slowly let go of those hands. He walked to the center of the room and he put his clothes which were only few of them, into the closet. The guy had told him not to touch the weapons. That was good, Kurenai never liked weapons, and bad things happened when he lifted one, he just could not control the weapon. He glanced a little towards the guy through his slim shoulder

,” I’m taking a bath…I.. Don’t mind if you join me….”

He could not just use the shower room by himself right? This room belonged to Sen after all, and he thought that it would be rude to just walk straight to the room ignoring the owner. Then, he made his way to the shower room and as he entered, he stripped himself from the Yukata, he let it fell to the floor. He saw a tub in there filled with warm water, so he just stepped in and begin to wash his body slowly. He sank himself until the water reached his chin; he rested his back against the tub wall and relaxed there. The water felt good, he closed his eyes for a while before he opens it again, and he looked around him. The shower room was pretty nice, it was well decorated, and he started to like this place.

I really didn't need his appologies. I ignored him when he said he hoped I wouldn't get in trouble. I never got in trouble. I was the best student they had, I could do whatever I wanted and they let me. Kurenai then put his clothes away and I was slightly surprised to see that they were all traditional kimonos and yukata. If he like that kind of stuff it was his choice. For me it would just be a pain to fight in.
Kurenai ten said he was going to go wash. Another surprise is when he invited me to go in the tub with him. I was shocked, but showed nothing in my face. This room was the only place I felt safe enough to hang my katana on the wall. I took my thick boots off and when I turned around, the metamorphe was already in the shower room. I swallowed before steping in that room. I saw his yukata on the floor and picked it up to lay it on a wooden bench. I started untying my belt. I sliped it off and put it on the bench. Then I took my pants off and put it at the same place. Then I turned around and sliped in the hot water of the tub. I sat down and let the water reach my neck. I sighed and closed my eyes.

"There's one more thing Kurenai. Something about me you should know. It's in my nature to keep everything clean and organized. I'll try not to get on your nerves with that. Oh yeah and if I do get on your nerves, warn me. Another thing, please, if tou find yourself... someone you want to have fun with, go to that person's room. If you'd bring him here, I'm afraid I would kill him. I feel very... protective of you, jst the thought of you with another person makes me...burn."

The guy joined him without hesitation. However, before he joined Kurenai he put his clothes and Kurenai’s on the wooden bench, all of them. It seemed that he made mistake by letting them fell on the floor. But then, it was nothing to be done about it anymore. As the guy joined him in the hot tub, he told more about himself, he said that he was a very organized person and almost a perfectionist when it came to hygiene of his room and everything around it. Kurenai did not have problem being clean, he liked it clean anyway.

,” I like being clean, I think we‘ll get along well.”

Things went smoothly and just like a usual chat, until sen mentioned that if Kurenai found another person to have fun with, then he should go to another room, and got back if he finished done so. The more surprising thing was that Sen told him that h felt very protective over Kurenai, the way he said it almost sounded like jealousy, but of course, Kurenai did not dare to utter that word for it might not a proper one. So, he tried his best to asked the guy without making the situation got awkward between them

,” Fun with others? What do you think I am Sen? And…. you said you feel protective over me, are you saying you want to claim my body? “

Kurenai said all those words bluntly with a plain expression in his face as he stared gently to Sen, calm gaze. He was totally lost by this guy’s words. Fun with others? Did he also think that kurenai was a whore or something? Or perhaps he prohibited Kurenai to talk to others? Maybe his blunt question would answer all of that.

It seemed that Kurenai was also a very clean person. That was a good thing, if we both pick up behind eachother, the room would stay clean. I relaxed my tense muscles and sliped a little deeper in the tub. I leaned my head back and rested it on the floor. Kurebai then asked me plainly what I meant when I said that I didn't want him to play with others. And he also seemed surprised when I told him I felt very protective over him. It made me feel a little uncomfortable. I wasn't expecting that I had to explain what it was I felt. I didn't even know really what I felt.

"It's not that I want to stop you from making friends, go ahead, but when I imagine that you might get emotionally connected to someone and then you don't... need me anymore, I feel that I would get very... unstable. I am not claiming anything that is yours. You give whatever you want to others. I would be very... betrayed if you went for another. But I do not own you, I guess you can do whatever you want."

That was so embarassing. I washed up and got out of the bath. I took a thick white towel and spun it around my waist to hide my body and then grabed my.clothes and went back in the room. I put my clothes away, picked a pair of loose black pants and put them on as my pyjama for that night. I never wore shirts. I then sat down at my desk and started reading a little bit about historical battles. A thought accured to me. I got up and looked in my closet for an old box. I found it easily, since everything is well organized and put it on the bed. It was an old kimono box. I would give it to Kurenai since that's what he likes to wear. I poped my head in the shower room.

"Hey, the box on the bed is a gift from me to you. I don't use it, but I think you'll like it."

It seemed to Kurenai that his blunt question made Sen Felt a bit uncomfortable. This made him felt bad. He shouldn’t have done it from the very beginning. He could see that his friend here got a little bit uncomfortable to response his question. Perhaps Kurenai was too rude to ask such thins bluntly like that. Before he finished bathing, the guy went back to the shower room and told kurenai that he had a gift for him. He wondered what it would be. Then, he finished cleaning himself. Before he got out from the shower room, he made sure that there was no soap bubbles left in there, he cleaned the room a little since he knew that Sen would like it clean.

Then, he picked up his yukata from the wooden bench and then he put it around his arms. He wore a towel instead to cover his body, from chest to his thigh. As he walked out from the shower room, he put his clothes to the closet and then he approached the old box that sen gave him. He opened it and he found a beautiful red yukata, made of silk, this was more than perfect, this yukata was probably the best he could see and get. He grabbed the yukata and he went to the closet, he opened the closet door, stood behind it and then he got changed behind that door. He wore the red yukata and then he closed the closet door. He showed Sen the view as he gently smiled at his new friend.

,” Thank you sen, this looks perfect, so gorgeous.”

Then, slowly kurenai walked towards sen and he leaned closer to him. He pressed his smooth rosy lips against sen’s forehead, giving him a gentle warm kiss. He leaned back and smiled. Then, he went to their bed, a very big bed, it felt very comfortable. Kurenai sat on the bed and then he looked at Sen from there, he reminded of what Sen said earlier about making friends and all

,” Forgive my rudeness, but…..Sen.. you.. feel betrayed if I go to others.. are you… in love with me? Am I wrong? If… someone else embraces me…. Will it be all right or… you will take me away from that person? Tell me…”

He liked the red silk yukata. That was good, it would at least have a purpose now. Besides, he looked good in it. Wait, he looked good? Since when did I look at men this way? Since when did I look at anyone like that? Why was it that I wanted this man to be safe.
To take my mind off of all these confusing thoughts, I decided to clean up my katana. I took my blade and took the protective sheath off and took some oil and a clean cloth. I did a primary cleansing of my blade, then poured the oild and wiped it off with the cloth. But then, as I was concentrating on my blade, Kurenai's voice came through and he asked me if I was in love with him.
I didn't know how I felt really. I put the oil away and threw the cloth in the dirty laudry basket. I got up and went to sit next to him in the bed. I presumed he had choden his side of the bed. I turned the top half of my body and grabed his chin with my index and my thumb. I stared in his eyes.

Kurenai leaned back slowly to the bed, he rested his back against the pillow and he gazed in a very gentle manner at Sen. He knew how to love, his foster father and family showed him how, they died protecting him, and that was how he understood about love, that you were willing to die in order to save someone that you cared about.

I closed my eyes when he got closer to me and then, my body shivered as his lips pressed against mine. I never shiver usually, but then again, I usually let nobody touch me or even get close to me the way Kurenai was. The kiss only lasted a moment, a very short moment and then he laid on his pillow. He asked me if that's what I wanted. I didn't answer. He then asked me if my family loved me. I stayed silent for a moment while he said that he could see in my eyes that I knew about love. I smiled at him. I crawled up to him and stared straight in his eyes.

"Mother died giving birth to me. Father only cared about my education and combat lessons. No, my father doesn't care for me in any other way. Ryuu is the only one that I love and that loves me back. He is my katana, my soul, my heart. You say you see love in my eyes, strange don't you think that the emotion is there when I am looking at you, Kurenai? If it were anyone else, I would give them my usual cold and calculated stare. Think about that."

I grabed his chin and pressed my lips on his harder then what he had dobe. I enjoyed that feeling, I would take advantage of it all the time. Besides, he lived in my room now. I licked his lips before backing up a little. I smiled at him and licked my lips to taste his scent on mine.

I guess I could sleep on the floor from bow on, his slim body couldn't handle the pain of sleeping on the floor. I got up and turned the light off. I made my way back to my desk and turned my study light on. I had homework to do. I'd go slep when I was done. I opened my text book and started working, ignoring the hardness in my pants. I ignored it for years and I could ignore it again. It didn't matter anymore. Kurenai didn't feel the same, right? Something felt heavy in my chest. My heart? Ryuu loved me. That was enough. Seeing his friend angry made Kurenai felt sad. He realized that his actions ended up in a misunderstanding state. Kurenai who was still startled and afraid dared himself to get off the bed. He released his grip from his yukata and slowly, walked towards Sen who was sitting on his chair feeling rejected, even worse, pissed. As he was only few centimeters away from Sen, he slowly moved his fingers and managed to grab sen by his shoulder. Kurenai took a deep breath and he tried to calm down, he was afraid now, afraid that Sen would get angry even worse at him. Then, he kneeled before sen and placed his head on sen’s shoulder. With a sad look in his eyes, Kurenai softly spoke to him, he was really sorry for everything.

,” I…. don’t mean to play with your feelings.. it’s just… you… you are the first person that make me go wild like that I…. I’m afraid that… you disgusted by me…. I….”

He closed his eyes, he just could not say anything more, he felt that everything he had done was all nothing but wrong, and hindrance to sen, this was the worst. He felt like hell, he just hurt sen’s feelings. Kurenai slowly let go of his hand from sen’s shoulder, he looked down to the floor with empty gaze.

As I kept thinking of how pissed I was at my desire for Kurenai, I didn't hear him coming closer to me until his hand was on my shoulder. I didn't react at first. Then he started speaking to me. He said he was sorry and that he didn'mean to play with my feelings, he was afraid that I would have been disgusted by his wild reaction to my body. That was just stupid. His hand then left my shoulder and I stayed silent for some time until his sad and depreive energy got me a little annoyed. I got up, grabed his hand and brought him back to bed. I pushed him on and then pulled the blankets from under him. I sliped under those blankets and then covered him up with the blankets. I made him lay down in his back and then I climbed on top of him. I looked at him in his eyes, even though it was dark my eyes grew accostumed to the darkness quickly.
